Melted Bead Sun Catchers/Intro to Glass Making

Our Melted Bead Suncatchers

We made these melted bead sun catchers as a project to introduce us to glass making a few months ago. Please excuse my spotty kitchen window! It is a great craft; one of those that looks good no matter how it turns out. We talked about melting points and watched a video about how glass is really made. I'm thinking a small stained glass project will be next. We gave a few away as gifts and it works in an oven with cheap plastic beads. You can read the instructions over at One Crafty Mama!
