Last of the Summer Fun

We have been very busy this summer remodeling a house and taking care of an aging grandma. So this month I have been dedicated to harnessing whatever fun I can still squeeze out of what is left of the summer.

This particular day we made homemade colored bubbles with dish soap and liquid food coloring. The surprise to me was that my son lined up the canning jars and made delicate bubble music with a straw.

Invite your kids to learn and they might teach you something!

He also made a bird nest from pine cones and needles he found in the backyard...
